Procedures

Four areas of practice. Within each, procedures are listed alphabetically.

Facial Surgery

Facial procedures are judged in conversation, in photographs, and in the mirror every morning. The aim is a result that reads as the same face, rested — not as a face that has been operated on.

Breast Surgery

Breast surgery covers aesthetic and reconstructive work, and the two are not separate disciplines. The same principles of shape, symmetry and tissue handling apply to both.

Body Surgery

Body contouring follows weight change, pregnancy and time. What is achievable depends on skin quality and on what the abdominal wall underneath is doing.

Hand Surgery

Hand and upper limb surgery is a distinct sub-specialty. Function comes first: grip, sensation and range of movement determine whether an operation has succeeded, long before appearance does.

Skin Surgery

Skin lesions, scars and skin cancer are treated with the same reconstructive principles as any other surgery: clear the problem completely, then close in a way that heals well and sits where it will be least noticed.

Non-Surgical Treatments

Injectable and energy-based treatments, offered where they achieve what a patient is asking for. Where they will not, we say so rather than selling a course of something that cannot deliver it.
