Aesthetic surgery fellowship
A clinical fellowship in aesthetic plastic surgery, based at The Surgery Center 3i in Cyprus and led by Dr. Demetris Stavrou. Fellows attend theatre, sit in on consultations and take part in clinical research. It is a small programme and it is deliberately hands-on.

Who it is for
Plastic surgeons who have completed specialist training and want to broaden their aesthetic practice, and aesthetic surgeons who want operative exposure to techniques they do not currently perform. It assumes an established surgical base; it is not an introduction to the specialty.
What the fortnight covers
- Facial rejuvenation
- Facelift, blepharoplasty and rhinoplasty.
- Body contouring
- Abdominoplasty, body lifts, Vaser 3D liposuction and Renuvion J-Plasma.
- Breast surgery
- Augmentation, reduction, mastopexy and implant technique.
- Non-surgical treatment
- Botulinum toxin, fillers and laser.
- Consultation and planning
- Pre-operative assessment, treatment planning and how those conversations are conducted.
- Research
- Anatomy lab work, case studies and routes to publication.
Teaching is built around live operating rather than lectures. Fellows scrub in on supervised cases alongside the operating surgeon, attend the consultations that precede those cases, and see the follow-up that comes after them.
Where it takes place
The Surgery Center 3i, Tseriou 188, Strovolos, 2044, Cyprus. It is the theatre where the practice's own operating is done, which is the point: the fellowship runs inside a working list rather than around a teaching one.

Applying
Places are limited by the size of the operating list, so cohorts are small and dates are set well in advance. Applications, cohort dates and the fellowship handbook are handled by the programme office.
