These terms govern your use of this website. By using it you accept them. They are written to be read, not to be scrolled past, and they are short for that reason.

1. Who operates this site
This site is operated by Demetris Stavrou IEPE, trading as European Institute of Plastic Surgery, registered address 38 Klimentos Street, Nicosia 1061, Cyprus, registration number HE339987.
The surgeons practising here are registered with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Cyprus.
2. This site is information, not medical advice
The clinical content here describes procedures in general terms. It is not advice about your case, it cannot take account of your history or your anatomy, and reading it does not create a doctor–patient relationship between you and the practice or any surgeon in it.
Do not act on anything on this site instead of seeking a consultation, and do not delay seeking medical attention because of something you read here. If you have an urgent medical problem, contact your own doctor or your local emergency service.
Whether an operation is appropriate for you can only be established by examination and consultation. That assessment sometimes concludes that no operation should be performed.
3. Photographs of results
Before-and-after photographs on this site are of individual patients who have consented to publication. They record what was achieved for that person. They are not an average, not a typical outcome and not a promise of what surgery would achieve for you.
The images are not retouched to alter the surgical result. They must not be copied, republished or used for any purpose — see section 6. Doing so is both a breach of copyright and an interference with the privacy of the patient in them.
4. Enquiries, quotations and appointments
Sending an enquiry does not book an appointment and does not commit either side to anything. An appointment exists when the practice has confirmed it to you directly.
No prices are published on this site and nothing here is an offer capable of acceptance. A quotation is given after the consultation, for the operation that was actually recommended, and it is the quotation — not this website — that states what is included.
Cancellation, rescheduling and deposit terms are set out in the quotation the practice gives you after your consultation.
5. Acceptable use
- Do not use this site or its forms unlawfully, or to send anything abusive or misleading.
- Do not attempt to gain access to any part of it, or to any server behind it, that is not made available to you.
- Do not scrape, harvest or bulk-download its content, and in particular not its clinical photographs.
- Do not submit another person's personal or medical information through the enquiry form unless you are entitled to do so.
6. Content and copyright
The text, photographs, diagrams and design of this site belong to the practice or are used under licence. You may read, print and share pages for your own personal use. Any other reproduction — republication, commercial use, or use as training data for an automated system — requires written permission.
7. Other websites
Where this site links elsewhere, that is for convenience. The practice does not control those sites, does not endorse their content, and is not responsible for them. Their own terms and privacy notices apply once you leave.
8. Availability and accuracy
The practice keeps this site accurate and current, and reviews clinical content against named surgeons. It does not guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted, or that every page is complete at every moment. Content may change without notice as practice changes.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Your rights as a consumer under the law of your own country are unaffected.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by Cyprus law, and the courts of Cyprus have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of the country in which you live.
