Биография

Д-р Деметрис Ставру, специалист пластический хирург и основатель EIPS.

Д-р Деметрис Ставру родился в Никосии, Кипр. Он вырос в семье врачей и рано понял отношения между врачом и пациентом. Он окончил University of Athens Medical School и прошёл ординатуру по пластической хирургии в Chaim Sheba Medical Center в Тель-ха-Шомер, Израиль.

Там он обучался косметической и реконструктивной пластической хирургии и продолжил стажировкой по Advanced Aesthetic Surgery в Melbourne Institute of Plastic Surgery.

Его интерес к реконструкции груди после рака груди и к косметическим процедурам после операций по снижению веса был очевиден с самого начала его карьеры. Он также обучался специализированным техникам подтяжки лица, реконструкции после ожогов и хирургии рака кожи.

Он работает с зарубежными медицинскими центрами в качестве приглашённого хирурга и сохраняет постоянный интерес к исследованиям и ряду опубликованных научных статей.

С 2012 года он занимает должность доцента в St George's, University of London и в Medical School of the University of Nicosia.
